I think this may be my favorite mystery so far, it's definitely a bit more complex and interesting than the previous ones in the series. In this story, we learn that Nancy is the best "girl detective" ever, and that she's a gifted parallel-parker. Her romance with Ned develops, and she gets away from home for a little while. I'd definitely recommend this to fans of the series!
This started out with the potential to be one of the strongest in the series, but too many deus ex machinae and ridiculous coincidences ruined it.

I found myself beside a bonfire with about 3 hours left until midnight on NYE so I picked this up as it was the next Nancy Drew on my shelf. I read this one about 20 years ago and I have to say that I remembered absolutely nothing about it. It was not really the most intriguing premise and I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to find this one. As always, reading the references to things that existed in the '60s and are basically eradicated made me laugh.
