I partially listened to the audiobook and partially read the e-book. Whispersync is a godsend if you want to read/listen to the same book.
The audiobook is well done.
There are parts of the book that are genuinely creepy, but I felt like the book was entirely too long to keep my interest. A lot of the backstory and side details (history of Derry, things that happened to people other than the Losers) were probably there for "ambiance," but I didn't think most of it added anything significant and just served to drag out the story.
All in all, not my favorite King book.

I've been on a bit of a Stephen King run lately. I've read The Shining, Doctor Sleep, The Stand and now It nearly in a row. I'd seen the TV mini-series many moons ago and liked it apart from the embarrassingly crappy ending. I loved the book. A great read, with believable endearing (mostly) characters with imperfections. The ending was a bit bleh for me, but I feel this book would have been difficult to end any way.
