I loved the big city girl moving into a small town theme, the main characters’ personalities and how they fit together, the relationships of the heroine with the other side characters — even though I wouldn’t have minded some more light and teasing interactions with the hero’s crew. It was sweet but a little bit too sweet at times. It felt scripted in way, which it is but what I mean is, it felt too perfect. Overall, I liked the beginning and the promise and with some tweaks I know I would have enjoyed it more.
I wasn’t even going to put this on my goodreads because I was EMBARRASSED but listen. This book is sexy!!! Don’t read it on your lunch break 5 minutes before a zoom call lol but it was hot and fun!!

Just really did not enjoy this read. To start with the positives - it's not terribly written, the grammar is good and the story does have an overall flow and structure. The spicy scenes were solidly written.
I just didn't like the plot at all. It was way too dumb heiriss vibes for me and not in a good/fun way.

Honestly, I get the hype. This was a funny, contemporary love story that definitely gives Schitt’s Creek vibes. I can’t wait for the movie adaptation!

Cyclone of emotions going on here, kskakqkjska!! I loved the message about them needing to have faith in each other and how strong that makes their relationship 🩵 always assuming the best and working through things from there. Was a good ending! Tied things up nicely. Also I consumed this within 24 hours 💅
