I really enjoyed this one! It was a quiet kind of character study that turned into a small thriller! I loved the commentary on toxic masculinity and how it’s been kind of “rebranded” in an age of self-help and start-up culture. I guessed multiple twists from the very beginning, so it wasn’t necessarily * shocking * but I still felt like I was at the edge of my seat near the end of it. I’d recommend to folks navigating grief or a very weird corporate culture that gives you perks instead of a salary.

Okay holy heck I just devoured this book in like 2 days because it was so good and I had to know what happened next. I literally cried at parts of it but it wasn’t overall too sad. Also like SO romantic at parts but also so exciting and aaaaah!

I do say I kind of saw the twist coming but maybe that’s just me distrusting men lol. Also the end was a little cheesy but honestly the whole thing was so good that it didn’t matter.
