4.25 out of 5 stars.

I really liked this installment for a variety of reasons. I've come to love all the motifs that Koch sprinkles throughout her books like "I love the way you think", "megalomaniac", etc. It's just a part of the main character that distinguishes her as a person. "Kittyisms," if you will.

The only thing I had an issue with in this installment were the amount of different Operations in the book. It seemed like at any moment in the book there were too many things going on and it became hard to keep track of who was in danger and the elaborate explanations behind all the action. Of course, there was a lot of convenient happenings when it came to the development of Kitty's "enhancements" and the fact that she could figure out so much of the megalomaniacs plans, but that's something I've come to terms with about this series. There's no feasible way that Kitty can figure out all the evil guys' plans just by growing up with the Conspiracy King and having read a lot of comic books. It's just a tad too out there, but so is the entire premise behind this series. Super-hot aliens from another planet and all that. If you're going to fully enjoy and immerse yourself in this series, you have to take a lot of things at face-value and appreciate the world-building and multitude of absurdly amazing characters for what they are.

I can't tackle this series from a reviewer standpoint and I'm not even going to try. I'm reading this series for my own pure, unadulterated enjoyment and entertainment. (That's probably a redundant statement but I stand by it.)

I will definitely continue on with this series for as long as I find it enjoyable and entertaining.

They should all be dead with the amount of trouble they always seem to be getting into; yet they are able to cunningly and bravely fight the enemy and make them suffer!

Much more somber than the series first three installments, this book continues with Koch’s normal plot structure with a major climax 3/4 through the book and then a final battle/event to cap it all off. At least it’s consistent.

The novel does introduce my two favorite pairings of the series so far, one romantic and one professional – though it does involve Kitty, so there’s always some flirting involved.

There is an event that occurs that strives to level the playing field for kitty (and while it doesn’t, I have to wonder what the point of it was. It fell flat for me.

I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 for reasons that others might not find to important. The story was great, I was entertained just like all the others and kept on the edge of my seat. I was disappointed in the author's lack of knowledge of some mothering facts. 1) it IS possible and quite acceptable to breastfeed past the time an infant starts getting teeth. I've done it, three times. 2) co-sleeping is not always a bad thing. Yes it should be done safely but a parent should never be told they shouldn't do it. Again, I successfully co-slept with three infants. All of that aside, what a great story. Obviously we've got Kitty in her new Mother role, but still kicking some ass. We've got a new and somewhat continued plan to take over the world that Kitty and her family and friends must thwart. And we've got new love connections being made.

All of our favorite aliens and flyboys are back plus one in yet another hilariously funny addition to this delightful series!!! Funniest one-liner I've read in a while: "I'm the Wolverine with boobs!" This book was great but it should be noted that it contains some adult content.
