Usually slice of life romance is not really my thing, but this was just too cute and I'm surprisingly invested in the story. I will read some more.

So... I think they're cute... as friends.
The chemistry is there but it's not giving romance, idk I know he's completely whipped and all but like...
Maybe it's because I think that both of them go better with the supporting cast? The gymnast girl and the badminton senpai seem better choices to me for them?!? Does it makes sense?
Idk their interactions just give like step-siblings vibes to me (not romantic), maybe the problem is that she moved in with him (which is a trop I HATE, that comically is most often used when the mls become step-siblings which for romance is gross af). It could've worked but I think the author did it too soon. It should've happened later when we got attached to them and were already rooting for them, this happened so fast that it seems forced as if that was the only thing that the author could find to move the plot which is not a good feeling to get while reading the 1st volume.
I have the second one so I'll read it but honestly I'm not sure I'll continue the manga because for now the only things giving anything is the sport aspect & the supporting cast. But we'll see maybe I'll start liking them together (I think they're great on their own & as friends but romantically they have yet to give me anything worth reading)
