This is my second book by Jenn and she has quickly risen to my top 5 favorite authors. The humor in her series hits me perfectly. While I was sad to not see much of the aunts from book 1 (which is understandable since they aren’t related to Carly) - the cheap shots from Ike kept me laughing because you know this is a reality for someone. I loved Carly and adored James. I loved Pops and wish we saw more of him. Once again, a book from Jenn McKinlay that made me laugh repeatedly as well as fall a little more in love with the characters of Bluff Point. Looking forward to 1/2/18 for book 3!

I have never laughed out loud and so much to a book before and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Can't wait to finish the series.

Outstanding! Even better than the first one. Loved the chemistry between the characters, and the animals in this one were fantastic! (More mature content than the author's mysteries.)

Binge! Love these characters, wanted them A factor to have more shame or consequences… guess that’s a good thing. Must read series in order for friend connections to make sense.
