This book is the definition of bittersweet.

I honestly loved this to the point of 5 stars, but holy crap. The number of kissing, make out, and sex scenes in this made me roll my eyes a few times. And I’m ALL ABOUT a Cassandra Clare steamy steam make out scene, so that’s saying a lot.

Enjoyed this overall, but I'm still debating whether I'll continue with any of the author's new series. It's just gone on for so long. I'm not sure I want to get drawn into it any longer. However, I may yet succumb to nostalgia and read the new books anyway.
The biggest problem that I had with this book is that I felt like there were, perhaps, more narrators then necessary, and I felt this conclusion fell prey to what sometimes happens in series with multiple spin-offs, the focus becomes less on concluding the current series and more about setting up the next one.
Still, I cannot deny that this book was captivating and that, for a book that had so many points of view, it managed them fairly well. Rarely was I confused about whose perspective I was reading.
