4.5 stars, cute! As a woman in STEM I’ve never felt more validated by a romance book! Only reason it’s not a 5 star book is because Olive was slightly irritating at points but overall still good characters and story line

ahhh i loved this so much! the banter was absolutely delicious, the broody unaproachable looking, too honest for his own good but secretly loving, caring and loyal male character will literally NEVER be not perfect, and this was just overall such a fun read!
(sadly i was not particularly invested in the whole STEM subplot, since... i have absolutely no knowledge on the subject, but that's my own personal failure and i am still very much supportive of all stories set in academia, hellish as the environment is <3 )

he treats her SO GOOD. THE ATTENTION TO THE LITTLE THINGS ABOUT HER?? FUCKING AMAZING. I also loved the representation of a character like olive. It was refreshing to read about a main couple/character (olive) who wasn’t OBSESSED with sex. (it’s not that I don’t mind reading about couples/characters like that, but it was a nice change of pace and a good reminder that there are people in real life who don’t care as much about sex because romance books specifically make it out to seem like that’s everyone's driving force in life when it’s not like that for everyone).

the only complaint I have is the third act breakup but other than that I loved it!
