Really good and intriguing but it ended a bit abruptly like there would be a follow up so would be interesting to read it if there will be. But the story line and writing was great and the characters really likeable

This is a really interesting concept and I'd love to see it fleshed out into a full novel.

Interesting mini story about a world where most people remain childfree as a reaction to climate change, with only the super rich and people who are content to drop out of society have children, because doing so means you lose your home, your job, your healthcare and money from the government...intense!

Wow wow wow. I want this to be a full book or a movie or a tv series.

The Breeder's Tale
Review of the Amazon Original Kindle eBook (September 2020)

Maybe I'm reading these Amazon Original Out of Line eBooks too close together, as they are starting to all seem derivative of Margaret Atwood's [b:The Handmaid's Tale|38447|The Handmaid's Tale (The Handmaid's Tale, #1)|Margaret Atwood|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1578028274l/38447._SY75_.jpg|1119185] with their dystopian projections. This one has a repressive society where childbirth is restricted.

Halfway to Free is one of seven Amazon Kindle eBooks released September 1, 2020 as part of their Amazon Original Out of Line collection of short stories about women taking control.
