Coming firmly in the quality crime category; really well plotted, really well paced; well rounded believable characters; fantastic sense of place. Really enjoyed it; looking forward to the next one.
I really love Inspector Banks. And the Yorkshire setting of these mysteries. But this murder and its resolution just didn't hold water for me. Too unbelievable.
