So much happens in this book, you feel like you've lived a thousand different lives.

I got whiplash from all the shit coming at the characters. It was devastating. I was unwell. 'll never emotionally recover. Why do I feel like this all happened to me?

Damn, Kate can write her little ass off!

“We love rainy days don’t we baby? “

Well this book broke me. I’m not a crier, but reading this hormonal was certainly not one of the better ideas I’ve had. I cried from 50% into the book to around 95% in; my eyes have been puffy and i’ve went through more tissues than I thought possible over a character. I don’t think i’ve cried this much over a book since reading the Torment duet by Dylan Page (if you like being manipulated and emotionally destroyed by books - you should read Torment, because despite this, it’s absolutely incredible and a 5* read).

So, I fell in love with Sean and Dominic with ease in the first book and didn’t mind if she ended up with both, or preferably Dominic if she had to choose. Dominic deserved so much better. As did Sean to be fair. Although they didn’t handle everything in the best way, they promised her they’d get back to her and she couldn’t wait more than 10 months without fucking the brother who was the reason she had to separate from the two people she was supposed to really love?? I felt so unsatisfied at the ending despite it being a “happy ever after” for Cecilia, however maybe I was just a little bit emotionally broken and grieving still

Omg!  I sat on this book for way too long. I absolutely can’t wait to start Finish Line. This book will definitely tear your heartstrings out!

Okay this might seem a little harsh but I just don’t get it. Like what was the point of the first book and going through the whole relationships and struggles if we were just gonna forget them and have a completely different love interest in the second book. Also felt really lazy killing one of them off since he was probably the more likable of the two from the first book. I do like Tobias but I feel like we never got the emotions she felt for him (or the other two) just these big declarations of love where it seemed to come from no where. I guess she just loves toxic men oops.

Also this felt like two different books. I don’t know just the things they all did to her and her just embarrassing herself in the process really took me out of it at times. I really couldn’t tell you what this series is about to be honest since it’s so disconnected at times. This book did make me cry at the end so it has that going for it, finally showing me actual emotions besides lust and obsession.

Such an emotional roller coaster but ready for the finale of the next book.
