I almost quit several times during the first half. The writing style is so angsty, trying to be poetic. I love "playing the movie" of a book in my head as I read it and this book was so cloudy to me. The second half of it really picked up.
I'm not a fan of Cecelia's character. She's broken, she picks broken, angry men because that's all she sees she's good for and lets them treat her like garbage, but can't stay away. She has great intentions, they do too, but they all need help before they should slot themselves into other people's lives. Definitely not relationships. So frustrating.

I really enjoyed this book. The book took me through many emotions. Anger, heartbreak, and joy for the ending. On to book 3.

I did not see that twist regarding the MMCs coming. I also loved the time jumps which made the character development a lot more believable. Loved the ending and that it was Tobias who finally woke up, and that’s how they get back together.
