Read this in one sitting and thought it was great. The magic system is super interesting and engaging. I felt it works in a very grounded way in world, but has a supernatural explanation that fits, if that makes any sense.

This was a great novella, unrelated to but set in the same world as Elantris.
The magic system and the characters were really interesting and I do hope we see more of Shai and Ashravan in the Cosmere.
The issue I had with this was Shai's constant inner monologue, it just grated on me so much and was unnecessary to the story.

Found this hard to get into - perhaps because fantasy like this isn't really my thing these days. At about 30% of the way through, I was hooked. Not sure if it's going to be specifically memorable, but definitely pretty damn good.
