Great Overall, Would Read Again

Overall the plot and story was amazing and I personally love dancer and football couples a lot. I think the actual way the book was written was a bit hard to connect with, but nothing I haven't experienced. A great read, and so worth the time,

Okay, so this wasn't what I expected. This is a college romance that felt more high school in its maturity. The behavior was very Gossip Girl-esque with its immature and elitist actions, just with more jocks. I'm also confused as to what kind of university this is because it just seems more like a private high school instead. I was so for this in the beginning. I loved that prologue, so it really started off strong, but then didn't really go anywhere. I really liked Lark and his family. They really kept me going through this book. The premise is great, but the execution just wasn't there for me, unfortunately. I also feel like Lark deserved better throughout the whole story. The ending made up for some of the story, but only a little. I just wanted more from this than I got.

Henry’s parents especially his dad and also coach were so stressful
His teammates were so not cool ; a bunch of spoilt brats

Who makes fun of the fact that someone is on a scholarship
So dumb!
And how’s surviving cancer a thing to be hidden
That plot makes zero sense

Lark was sweet and tolerant and I love they way he cares
I’m glad Henry eventually stood up for himself and went all out for what they had
