loved the art (the shapes!! the character designs!! the thick lineart!!) and the jersey devil stuff was cool as well! but i feel like the plots were kinda confusing. it seemed at first like the main plot would be finding out what happened to beth, but that was quickly eclipsed by the pipeline and im left wondering why that simply wasn't advertised as the main plot. and I'm kinda confused by what happened to beth, anyway. so lucas killed her? i think? but idk why. did i miss that part? and then she got turned into a bird i think ........??? and I'm not really sure what the magic (?) that Dee got was about either. or how it worked at the end.

The story was interesting enough to read about and held my attention. The art was absolutely beautiful, but the plot line about Beth’s death felt completely wrong. It seemed unnecessary and it was just used to move the story along. She deserved better. 2 ⭐️ for the storyline, 4 ⭐️ for the are so an overall 3 ⭐️
