I would highly recommend this book. The art style is really nice and I like the blend of mystery, supernatural, and environmentalist. I found the characters endearing and felt their struggles.

I liked the premise of this book and the folklore of it all. The art was nice, too. But the plot wasn't quite there for me. The ending took a long time and then felt super rushed at the end. Wouldn't necessarily reread it, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying another by O'Connor, for the art, at least

Fun art throughout the graphic novel, and I really enjoyed the plot twist at the end! However, I wish the ending was a bit more fleshed out and we had more explanation for some of what occurred throughout the book. I wish we knew what the heck the forehead thing was - how did it become a source of power? And I felt like the line with Beth was totally steam rolled over in favor of the pipes plot line. Overall, I think it could have been a bit more thought out, but it was an enjoyable way to pass the time nonetheless.
