I liked Vera, the art, and the color palette.

I didn’t like the fact there’s a massive trigger warning out of left-field towards the end which upset me greatly. It also felt like a cop-out way to wrap up the main plot since it was not explored at all/nothing lead up to it that would have made it plausible anyway. Thanks a lot.

I love cryptids and folklore and somehow this book didn’t do much for me. The transitions between scenes were really clunky, the characters never felt real/differentiated, and the ending was… resolved through the power of a glowing forehead?

An interesting mix of themes. Beautiful art style. Loved the main characters. Felt like it could of been longer or maybe 2 books. Just lacked some depth and the ending was a bit convenient/rushed
