This book was generally very enjoyable although there was something a bit wobbly about the construction. The perspectives of the kids were so clear but the perspective of the adult main character felt a bit odd and out of place to me. The ending was definitely rushed. I learned a ton about the deaf community, ASL, and deaf schools though, and I enjoyed being immersed in this world.
