I love a book like this - about a group I am not a part of but walk away understanding a little bit better. I like the open endedness of the story, but I do feel there were some back and forth moments that were confusing as a reader

awesome rec from sam, love learning more about Deaf culture and just such an interesting story with great characters
Loved this book as a concept and was so intrigued by the first 85% of it. It just ended up feeling rushed. Eliot’s storyline starts so late and the end wraps up way too quickly. Five stars for idea and characters, three for pacing and structure for me.

What I really enjoyed about this book was the snippets of history/deaf culture that were added between chapters. It was nice to see some truth thrown in with the fiction.
