Very average book. The plot is not very inventive, the ending felt rushed and there were too many "twists" to be enjoyable. The four main characters were also very unlikable for me. The humour is the book's only strength in the end.

The beginning felt slow and dragged out. Luckily it picked up some pace towards the end.

This has everything you could want in a cosy mystery. There is a lot of dialogue which was very well-written. The mysteries make sense. The characters are the true joy, though.

I loved this! I find it very comforting reading about old people getting into mess. It was some sad (?) moments tho that took me off guard. The amount/length of chapters threw me off at first but if you think about it like a show or movie then you see that every chapter is just a cut to a new location or POV. I will say, that one of the character's storyline was him feeling unloveable because he was fat, and well that sucked.
