Gentle, funny, great characterisation, the end was a bit tedious with all the red herrings and tying up of loose ends, but I can finally now see what all the fuss was about

As audio book from Audible

Really enjoyed the narrator, she performed amazingly giving all the different characters unique voices.

Surprisingly poignant, wasn't expecting that.

Have some misgivings about the final resolution, in mainly why Elizabeth was so dedicated to Penny and John paying for their murders (with their lives!) but didn't seem bothered about Bogdan killing people.

A delightful read! I enjoyed it very much. Some loose ends were hastily tied up, but it was a really fun read.

I really liked the characters and the mystery. I have read a few books where the characters are old sleuths and this one is my favorite. I was a little disappointed on the resolutions of the murders
because the focus for the first half of the book was on the first one and apparently the author decided randomly while writing to have Bogdan be the killer
. I will still continue this series.

Funny in a quaint middle England type of way. Brilliant for a first effort.
