I feel like this nonfiction book was promoted like a six-degrees of tuberculosis, and would be about how the disease influenced historical events, inventions, and other aspects of our lives that we hadn’t realized. While a few of these were presented very early in the book, that is not what this book is about. It was still very informative and I learned a lot about the history and treatment of TB, along with the social injustice that continues to allow so many to suffer and die from a treatable disease.
