Okay.... I was absolutely loving this... but I honestly feel so let down by the reveal of "The Friend". It wasn't very impactful at all. And that was the main mystery for 7 volumes in. I barely remembered who it was because I haven't heard about him for many volumes by now, and then he died immediately after the reveal. I really hope the hint at the end that he can come back to life redeems this somehow, but also I'm getting annoyed with the antagonists. Like. I don't understand at all why they want to "destroy the world". I usually hate that kind of premise but the rest of the series is so good that I stuck around. Also, Kanna is annoying. I hate chosen ones and she isn't a very good one. I liked her better as a baby haha.
