The poems are lovely. However, I listened to the audiobook and the production wasn't great. The music playing in the background was distracting - sometimes too loud, sometimes not even there, and seemed irrespective of the mood of the poem. The pauses between poems was also inconsistent - sometimes barely a breath, sometimes as long as 30 seconds. If it was a longer book I probably wouldn't have finished it.

Background piano music was annoying since it wasn't designed to match each piece. On it's own, it was great, but it ruined the enjoyment of listening to the poetry for me.
