I'm losing patience with these characters, and the main female characters of these series are too much alike in their acceptance of horrible, abusive treatment from the men they supposedly love.
I've invested a lot of time in these series and would like to see how things turn out, but my increasing frustration with Breanna, Reah, Lissa, and others might well overshadow that remaining spark of interest.

In the second book in this series, the heroine is still trying to get used to what she really is, and how to handle things. She also finds out that rogue gods are messing with the timeline, and things aren't looking so good, but she will do everything she can to help save lives.
This book was really good! I really enjoyed the heroine a whole lot, and the plot line was very interesting as well. I can't wait for more in this series now.
