tchaikovsky writes about a lost terraformed colony again. Although some of it is less believable, it's an enjoyable enough journey.

My first Tchaikovsky, and it definitely won’t be my last! As I write this, I’ve already ordered three more. I loved this!

Yet again Tchaikovsky has given us a very weird short story that you're unsure why you're enjoying it, but enjoy it you do.
Aliens? ✅ Monsters? ✅ Unexpected horror elements? ✅ Humor? ✅ Emotional turmoil? ✅ ✅✅✅

There is something for everyone in a book that I suspect most readers will walk away from saying "What the f*** was that?" while also looking around for more works by this madman of a storyteller.

I honestly probably didn’t give this 100% of my attention and because of that, I was just superficially invested and my overall feeling was of mild disinterest. However, this is a popular Tchaikovsky read and is very well liked.

So, if you like the concept of Star Trek’s prime directive, where a high tech, anthropological “wizard” was sent to observe a very far in the future humanity, and ends up breaking all his cultural taboos and laws not once, but twice, then this might pique your interest.
