I really liked the characters and the setting, but from the

80% breakup

Omg Mason and Fenn are so freaking adorable. Their chemistry was palpable and I just loved Mason so much. His character development was done really well. I loved his openness and attitude.
Loved all the characters here too.
With the first book in olearly, I found the other characters to be very overwhelming, introduced too fast. But here, it worked better. I think the story was paced better. I’m definitely going to continue both series now!!

I almost DNF’d this book. The main characters are ok. I just found the premise of the island and all the ancillary story grating and hard to get through.
