Greek Lessons is my first attempt on reading Han Kang and I can't say that it was a successful one.
The story is presented in short snips and by the time the two main characters start interacting, the book is finished. And, other than the poetic narration, the book doesn't offer much. The story is a letdown and, in the end, not that engaging. Also, it's not easy to pick up on the parallels between the two languages when you don't know Korean or/and ancient Greek.
Overall, the story had potential but it was not handled in the way as to let it shine.
