It’s super super dense and I feel like I’ll have to read it again at some point to fully get it, but it’s a really interesting and convincing criticism of Clinton’s economic policies from the left.
Would def recommend if you’re into that sorta thing.
I will say I feel like at points the author might have overstated the impact of not having a real labor movement impacted things across the board (particularly in East Asian markets) but I’m also a dumb idiot and don’t have grounds to disagree with a labor historian lol
