Moderate: Animal death, Death, Violence, and War
This book is absolutely wonderful, but might be a bit much for very young readers. It addresses war and the violence found in war in realistic ways, and this does include some moderately graphic descriptions of death/wounds/etc. That being said, I first read this book at the age of eleven and it didn't permanently scar me or anything.naomi_k's review
