I picked this book up because of the premise. I had seen it online and I was quite intrigued by it. Multiple teen influencers get asked to preview an exclusive amusement part on an island. Heck yeah, sounds fun. It starts well, then goes south quickly...suddenly they’re being chased by a masked killer who starts picking them off one by one. Who can you trust? Who’s doing this and why? The answers will surprise you. It was really good and I had a hard time putting it down!

LOVED the easy read such a great “turn your mind off” kind of book. Definitely was disappointed in the ending, sort of felt like Natasha wanted the story to end before it was finished. BUT this is the first book I’ve read of hers and am planning on reading the rest of her stories in the near future.

Did not see the plot twist at the end coming, that's why I'm giving 4 stars. I didn't think the dialog flowed very well.
I thought that the middle of the book had way too much running around.

Had the potential to be a good book. The ending absolutely ruined any chance I had of liking it.

I almost DNF’d this book. It automatically lost a star from the get go when there were SO MANY pop culture references. In a few years I’m not sure it would be readable by teens just because it’s the equivalent of if you read a book now where the main character was a teen talking about her MySpace.

The middle 150 pages were so repetitive and frustrating I almost quit. The characters make a plan, get split up, almost get attacked or captured by the killer, they get away, run into one of the other characters, they hide somewhere, then they all play the blame game of accusing each other and trying to figure out the motive of the killer, rinse and repeat like seven different times. I got so tired of them trying to figure it out that I started to wonder if the author even knew what was going on.

By the end of it I was pleasantly surprised so ultimately I’m glad I finished it. But ugh that middle bit was rough.
