Brit does not miss! I devoured this book, stayed up all night reading, completely enthralled.
She is a Rockstar with a past and he is the good Christian boy with his own demons. They grew up together & getting this story in parts allows us to see them in every stage of life. Highly recommend anything by Brit.

I knew once Brit told me she was writing this book that was going to take place over years of the couple's life that I was going to be obsessed. Of course she couldn’t just make it a simple story though, she tossed in her Brit magic and some twists and turns and created this masterpiece that made me unable to put it down until I was done.
Levi & Sav have been friends since Sav pushed Levi off the swing in second grade. They come from what appears to be two different worlds but they both have families that are really not good for them. They find comfort in each other until Savannah is forced to leave.
Reunited years later, Sav and Levi are given a chance to catch up and reunite in ways they weren’t able to before. I really enjoyed getting to know this side of Savannah. She was much stronger on her own. She found herself a family through her friends and now band mates. Levi on the other hand is still his quiet self. Now in college, he is still very much the studious man who doesn’t want to cause any problems until they fall in his lap and he has no choice. Without giving away what happens, this part of the story is a bit heartbreaking and I was quite angry at everyone. I was mad at Brit for putting me through the pain and at Sav and Levi for being too stubborn!
We jump further into the future where things have changed significantly. Sav’s band has become extremely successful, but with their success has also come with drug problems and jealousy and other issues that have plagued their band. Savannah wants to start over and is now starring in a movie. Coincidentally, this is where she is reunited with Levi. This is where we get to meet Daddy Levi. And let me tell you, I loved nerdy sweet Levi, but Daddy Levi who is so caring towards his daughter but a filthy talker in bed is my absolute favorite! There are surprises that will blow your mind. There are scenes that are so filthy you are gonna need to shower after. Brit always delivers an intricate story in which every piece of the story is significant, and characters who have so much growth. While my heart almost didn’t survive the story, I am absolutely in love with this story, the characters and their love. And I look forward to seeing what Brit can do with the other bandmates!
Brit has this insane ability where she picks the most perfect narrators. And even more so, she picks female narrators who absolutely SLAY. I am used to everyone talking about the male narrators, and yes we all know how amazing Jacob Morgan is, seriously just announcing him I was like “SAY LESS!”. But Angelina… oh my goodness. I can’t even describe the emotions she brought to the book. This might seem like a crazy thing to mention, but she has this perfect way of pausing,and breathing during her performances that just take it to the next level. I was brought to tears many times. There were a few parts of the story I was looking forward to hearing in audio and Angelina & Jacob did not disappoint!

4.5 - ending was rushed but overall finally found a book similar feeling to Kate Stewart’s writing. I love second chance and I love super angsty stories

OMG this book. Brit Benson wrenches my heart every time and this was no different. Can't believe I slept on it so long and waited on reading/listening to it. Sav and Levi just got me right in the feels. All through the book I wanted to hug Sav and let her know that her day will come and that good things will be hers.
I got so caught up in the story I did it in almost a day, it made me cry and feel all the emotions.
I loved all the sidecharacters and the relationship that Sav and 'Boss' have.
Can't wait to continue with Torrens book!!
