This was a fun fast paced story! Even though it is nowhere near summertime, this is the kind of book you would want to take with you to a cottage at the beach on a weekend getaway! Nothing to heavy, but a fun romantic story! Very funny at times and just the right amount of sexy times too!
It was fun watching Kat make Logan squirm when he was trying to keep things platonic between them. She has a lively personality that provides some sass to Logan's Aussie laid-back, easygoing style. He was kidding himself if he thought he could resist her!
I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next with Kat's sister, Claire!

Nice and simple storyline. Although very stereotypical, I enjoyed it.
Kat finds herself homeless and forced to crash with her brother’s friend, Logan, a bad boy from Australia.
She decides to have a fling with him and vows not to get emotionally entangled. Of course, like all eye-rolling stereotypical romance novels, that plan doesn’t work. They fall for each other.
I enjoyed the humour of the characters more than the storyline.

This is Book #2 in the Silver Bay series. I have read book #1, A Venture of the Heart. I read this book in one setting. This book was by far my favorite of the two. Not sure how the third book will play in here.
Logan and Kat are like oil and water. The sexual tension was very high between these two. I loved the nickname Logan gave Kat. It was completely her. Great writing and believable characters.

I don’t say this lightly this author is beginning to be one of the favourite romance authors very fast. I felt the love between Kat and Logan and perhaps was a bit rushed in my opinion. I love the relationship and friendship between the sisters. My rating for this book is a 4 out of 5 stars. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest, voluntarily review
