I have loved Zeke since book 1 of the series, so getting his story was the perfect conclusion to the series. I am always a sucker for single dad/nanny trope, so that definitely didn’t hurt. I loved this from beginning to end, but I will miss getting to spend time with these characters now that I have finished the series.

I mean, the one-sitting books have to be 5⭐️ right??? Can’t believe this is the last book of this series (I think). I have loved them all and am obsessed with all six NHL players and their friendship and banter.

SUMMARY:
Zeke Miller was the first one on the team to get married, to have a kid and the first one whose marriage went up in flames, making him the team's first single dad. Zeke's daughter is his life and he'd do anything for her but being a single dad to a four-year-old and the star-goalie for the Chicago Red Tails is no easy feat. Elsie is starting preschool which means Zeke needs a new plan and when his teammates suggest a full-time nanny he is open to the idea. Zeke found the best candidate for the job who is kind, compassionate, fun and she's perfect for his daughter. The problem for Zeke is that he thinks she might also be perfect for him.
REVIEW:
Bonus Game is the sixth and final book about the romance between the single dad Zeke Miller and the nanny Ada Lewis. There were many heartwarming moments between Elsie and Ada that I enjoyed reading because that little girl really needed a mother figure. A moment that I enjoyed was when Ada met Elsie for the first time and they hit it off right away which after both of them spending so much time together their relationship became stronger. Another moment that I enjoyed had been when Zeke finally divorced his wife once and for all so that he could propose marriage to Ada.
A heartwarming moment had been when Zeke gave her adoption papers for Elsie on her birthday. There were also very lovely moments between Zeke and Elsie that showed how much he loved his daughter which would include doing anything he could to make her happy. I did feel like their love story was a bit slow at times. The part where his wife came back to get his money when he served her divorce papers did not feel right to the plot of the story but at least it worked out in the end for them both.
