DNF! i looved book one but book two was sooooo slow

I enjoyed this book and the 1st beginning to end. Conflicts were resolved quickly which is my preference. Consent was constantly at the center of the spicy times which I loved as someone who can't stand dubcon. My only critique is that while I get the point that Ben loves baking and no one needs to eat healthy all the time, I did get secondhand sweetness overload. Some more savory dishes would have rounded out the food selection but that's super minor. I'm looking forward to more books from this author

There’s room for more people in the pack, right??

This duet was really well done. I cried and laughed and loved the characters. There was so much darkness in the omegaverse world, but the pack were so sweet anyway.
I may be a little obsessed with Ben. And also a little upset that there was no sword crossing (yes I know the author said that at the beginning but they would be so cute!).
