THANK YOU audible!!! God bless.

OMG OMG OMG I flipped out when I saw this book. I canceled all my afternoon plans for today so I could enjoy it uninterrupted!

I LOVED #1 and have listened to it at least 7 times. Zachary Quinto could read me the dictionary and I'd drool.

While I didn't love this as much as the first, I'm so happy to have had it! It felt like my birthday and Christmas wrapped up in one. Most likely, getting this book unexpectedly will be THE highlight of 2020.

I am glad to know there will be more in this series. THANK YOU John Scalzi and Zachary Quinto!

Not as good as the first but still a really interesting world I would love to visit again and hope Scalzi writes another one.

Having really enjoyed [b:The Dispatcher|26082188|The Dispatcher|John Scalzi|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1474569919l/26082188._SX50_.jpg|46020966], I couldn’t resist getting the second instalment. Once again, Scalzi puts together an entertaining thriller/mystery, which Zachary Quinto improves by his rendition.

We rejoin Tony Valdez, a ‘dispatcher’, a few years after the events of the first novella. Somehow, he has been having to accept the shadier kind of contracts of his profession to make ends meet. Unfortunately, bigger trouble comes knocking at his door and he is once more thrown right in the middle of it.

Don’t expect to find hidden depths. This is an easy, fun, and quick read that will entertain you for 3 hours. The full price for the audiobook however wasn’t.

I liked this. It's not a great book by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a fun, short read in a universe where death isn't usually permanent. Think of it more as a story-telling exercise to explore how you would murder someone when they can't really be killed in any conventional way, wrap that up in a mystery with some old familiars, and you've got Murder by Other Means.

A great sequel to The Dispatcher. Not as humorous as the first, but still good enough that I’m diving into book 3 immediately.

I actually enjoyed this story more than the first. It gripped me right this time. I found it intriguing, the idea that the dispatchers would constantly have the same conversation about death with everyone and be bored by it.
