A really interesting idea and rather well executed. Zachary's voice was fantastic for the narration as well.

I had no idea this was book 2 in a series and it works as a stand alone just fine.

Set in today's world, but if you're murdered, you have a 99.9% chance of reappearing in your own bed, safe and sound. Take your standard, grizzly PI and put him in that world (and make him a dispatcher), and you have these delightful books by John Scalzi.
