“There is no sound in the house until, a few minutes after Martha’s exit, a shot is heard. The sound of the shot should not be too loud or too strong; the act has not been sensational.”

had to keep putting this down to deep breathe ❤️

A required reading for me Queer Genre class.

Honestly, I don’t have a lot of strong feelings about this play. It was good, but not much else to say. Knowing the cultural and political context behind this play, though, did make it more interesting.
