Wonderful, wonderful book. To read their words, their shared humour, insecurities, see the connection and also the differences. A special little volume 💜

this was really really cool!!! nice to see the long tradition of sapphic yearning that has come before me. i think when i imagine queer people of the past there’s a tendency to imagine them in a very specific way, as repressed and lacking an understanding of themselves and their identities but at least for these two that was not the case at all (although of course they lived in relative privilege to be able to have this relationship). anyway, it took a downturn pretty fast at the end which threw me off but that’s how it went in real life, and sometimes real life is like that. overall would recommend
