Enjoyable romp through Texas and Germany. I loved all the quirky characters and family dynamics, as usual in Amy Poeppel’s novels, but I think spreading out across two families didn’t give anyone enough time.

I really enjoyed this story!
I'd rate it higher, but decided on a 3.5 because there are parts of the story that fells unfinished. I want to know more about Jack's story... what happened next?
