More like a 2.5. I like Jeffery Deaver and I like Colter Shaw, but this was a really weak installment. Fortunately it was a short story, so I only waster about 1/2 hour.

I think my general thoughts on these short stories are that they’re nice, but ultimately the novels have far more depth and so I prefer them by far. I liked the premise of this one and it was a good twist, even if it wasn’t as developed as I may have hoped.

A decent little novella. I love the Colter Shaw books. The concept of making a living out of finding people for reward money is unique and well done.
