idk why as a kid i never read this series because it is absolutely amazing, and definitely a series that kids and adults alike can love. what i think i loved most about it was not only the fast-paced nature of it but also the humor and lovability of the characters, mainly percy jackson. typically i tend to lose interest in some books pretty quickly yet this book, along with rick riordan’s other books, have somehow been able to keep my attention so much that it’s like i couldn’t put the book down at times. definitely looking forward to reading the other books in this series

Reading Percy Jackson for the first time in 2023 (and as a 20 year old) was very interesting, but I enjoyed it a lot and i’m glad i’m finally getting to this series. I’m sure I would have rated it higher if I’d read it in middle school, but I still think it’s a really good book.
