I first read this over 10 years ago as a child, around the same age as Percy, and I decided to reread it before watching the new series on Disney+. I am so glad I reread it!! It was honestly so much better than I remember, and I actually forgot a lot of what happened in the book, so in some aspects, it was like reading it for the first time! Just absolutely wonderful, and has made me fall in love with this series all over again!
