Two Old Fools - Olé: Another Slice of Andalucian Life by Victoria Twead

I thought it might be relaxing and a nice slice of life but it was ruined by the dialogue in the narration of screechy kid voices and just how bratty and badly brought up unruly and annoying the children were and how the adults just shoved the responsibility of about six children and a dog onto the neighbors they had only met five minutes before. I tried to skip ahead, but it wasn't funny, it was just chaos.

A lovely gentle biographical story of an older couple who have chosen to live in a small Spanish mountain village. The ups and downs of life, neighbours and negotiating life in a tiny town with new customs and language.
If you enjoyed Peter Mayle's Provence books then this one will hit the spot :)

This was as much fun as the first book. I love reading about Vicky and Joe's hilarious adventures. I'm looking forward to reading about their life in Bahrain!

Another fantastic book by Victoria Twead, continuing her memoirs. Humorous and poignant tales from their years in rural Spain. As usual, containing a delicious Spanish recipe in every chapter.
