I never feel like a first book pulls me in. I was so confused up to page 45. There are so many keys but also only two specific keys. There are so many POVs that change mid-chapter after like 4 pages. I do love the art style though.

Bratz Readathon 2020

This was a pretty interesting read, the story was really engaging, and the atmosphere was creepy. I think the designs of the house and the keys were really cool, but the characters looked really weird, and ugly. Art style is really important to me in graphic novels, it's what shows you the story, and gives you the feelings the authors wish to convey, and I'm just not a huge fan of the way this looks. I also felt that the story was a bit too fast paced at times; I don't know, or care about these characters too much because I've barely spent time with them. I hope the next volume will rectify that problem though. After finishing this, it really makes me curious about the Netflix series, I might give that a watch.
