4.5 Stars. I had a great time with this one. I loved both Gia and Enzo. This is definitely a darker story than in the first two books, but Mila pulled it off. I can't wait to dive into the next book.

Oh yeah I LOVED this book. Gia is a spitfire and absolutely gives Enzo a run for his money. I cannot get over how much I loved how Gia made Enzo crazy. This book has a kidnap situation and it was actually so funny that even tho Gia was the captive, she had Enzo wrapped around her finger. This is a dark and SUPER spicy mafia romance and I highly highly recommend!

I liked it better than the first two books in the series. I kinda hoped it could explored more on the emotional aspects of the story. The confession/ apology could have gone better.
“ill pazzo,” i said quietly, my palm caressing the side of his face.

Ahhh the classic mafia with kidnapping. Always hits the spot.
This is a sequel to the Mafia Mistress duet following Frankie and Fausto. You have to read those first in order to understand the conflict between these characters. Also because they were epic.
Gia’s a mafia princess, naturally her father has enemies but she ends up being kidnapped by her brother-in-law’s enemy -Enzo- whom we met in Mafia Mistress. Locks her in a cage, naked and without food to humiliate her, little does he know his new pet has claws.
If i thought Frankie was a badass then i wasn’t prepared for Gia. Complete with a clit piercing and tattoos and you got yourself a boss ass bitch. Poor Enzo didn’t stand a chance, that man was wrapped around her fingers from day one.
Seeing things from different perspectives can make you sympathize with the villains; Fausto really did a number on Enzo when he tortured him in the first book and you can see the trauma haunting him even 4 years later, and he a still in hiding to not be caught and tortured again, away from his kids. Plus single dads touch a soft spot for me and i can’t help but feel sad for him
