This had me fighting back tears while listening to this audiobook. I will admit the plot/relationship definitely felt a little unrealistic, but I think the story about grief and how raw it was holds up regardless. I'm not quite sure why this is considered a romance, it's totally more about Elsie's grief and loss than it is her relationship (even though there's flashbacks to the relationship). Something about TJR's characters feel so real and raw.
