I’ve never been much of an avid reader growing up. I’ve only read a small number of books fully. With that being said, I think I’m positive enough to say that this book is what has got me into reading.

It’s indescribably beautiful. I love the writing in the book and how it would tug at my heart strings. The love between Achilles and Patroclus and how it’s described from Patroclus’ view is so fascinating.

I never knew that love could be written so poetically.

I did take long to read the book but only because I got so attached and was afraid of things escalating when they seemed good for the characters. The anticipation of the trials I knew they would face hit hard. To me, that’s when I know a tv series/film/book is really good.

I HIGHLY recommend reading this book for anyone who’s even remotely interested. It’s a worthy read.

This is a perfect book. It is filled with so much softness and warmth and devastation.

This different retail about Achilles is amazing! So fast to read, so much love, friendship and trust! Usually I can drop a tear or two reading, but through the last 40 pages I was bawling my eyes out! What an ending!
