Really good fun. I love the idea of the Fables attempting to create a team of super heroes using all the stereotypes they can think of.
And a really satisfying ending
And a really satisfying ending
It started out kinda fun, watching Pinocchio fanboy about comics in a comic, but it just ended up being anti-climactic. It almost felt like the author wanted to create this terrible Big Bad for our protagonists to fight, but he didn't want to kill off any characters. As that would have had to happen to be at all believable. We'll see what happens in the next volume.
A super quick (and somewhat jumbled) resolution to what was leading up to the be all end all of all the things.
Still a good read. I heart Wolf. And the Frog Prince is dreamy. GO RED. Snow is my hero.
And other sick, incoherent musings.

The way they deal with the Big Bad was satisfying, and some seeds for new challenges have already been sown. Less satisfying, did you know that to be attractive you need to be thin? And when you achieve your weight goal, a hot new outfit materialises around you? Yup.
Moderate: Fatphobia
A solid progression in the story, with an interesting twist. Lots of place to go from here.
This series seems to be petering out, or at least losing my interest. The plots felt slapdash, and I wanted more development in the character of the North Wind. Also, the foreshadowing with Rose Red is getting repetitive and ham-handed, in my opinion.
